Seeing Other People is when one member of a relationship is actively seeing other another person. This can mean that the person is having sexual relations with another. This does not necessarily mean the person is cheating since usually when one person is seeing other people means that they are not in a committed relationship at the moment and thus have no exclusivity with anyone. This can be problematic for people that have feelings for the partner that is seeing other people.
Example Use: Friend 1 – “So how are things going with Tracy? It seems you guys are getting along pretty great.”
Friend 2 – “Yea it’s going alright, but we’re also both seeing other people at the moment, so nothing extremely serious. She is hella fun to be with, but right now just taking things real slow you know.”
