Becoming Official is the phase when you are now exclusive. For some people, this includes calling each other boyfriend or girlfriend. There are some couples who have a specific ‘what are we?’ conversation to determine if they’re becoming official. For others, they just happen to be on the same page and no conversation is needed. Some people just assume after a certain amount of time that they’re official. It really depends on your situation, but a conversation can help to make sure.
